День фотографа за традицією відзначається 12 липня – це день святої Вероніки, яка вважається покровителькою фотографії. Свята Вероніка, згідно з Біблією, подала Ісусу, що йде на Голгофу, тканину, щоб він міг стерти піт з лиця. На цій тканини закарбувався образ Христа.
Майже два тисячоліття тому, коли винайшли фотографію, Папа Римський оголосив цей день Всесвітнім днем фотографа. Перша фотографія була зроблена в 1826 році французом Жозефом Нісефор Ньєпс, і називається «Вид з вікна». Зйомка зайняла цілих 8 годин.
Відомо, що перші фотографії були чорно-білими. Перші кольорові фотографії з’явилися ще в середині XIX століття, причому для їх створення використовувалися три фотокамери – на кожну встановлювали світлофільтр (червоний, зелений і синій), а потім ці три зображення з’єднували в одне ціле.

With my camera I can freeze a frame, a moment in time, something that is seen as usual and common by others but can be captured by me from a striking angle, with unusual mood. Everything works well (Video, Sound Card and Ethernet Adapter) except of WiFi (Intel 4965agn).
